The Lore
Old Badger's Hollow exists in a liminal space filled with enchanted creatures who all collect, share, and explore in the everyday possibilities that can only be found in the Hollow. In the Old Tree, Old Badger creates one-of-a-kind beadwork while Clarence (a Siamese cat) hunts for hidden gems. They are joined by several notable figures in the Hollow, including Karl the Wise, an owl who had to learn to fly after having broken wings, musical Mrs. Marie Badger (Badger's loving and loyal wife), a bohemian artisan named Sophie (a very kind Mama Bear) with her creative cubs, Lucas and Obie. Each of these characters are connected to the other residents in the Hollow, from the lake’s merfolk (led by merman Satin,) to the skies with Raven and her collection of shiny charms, and to the tiniest of places with the Mouse family’s secret stashes.
At Old Badger's Hollow: After Dark, some of our more reclusive and mysterious residents like to come out and visit one another. Once the sun comes down, you never know if you might encounter a fire breathing dragon protecting her hoard or a vampire stalking the evening shadows.
No matter the reason for the visit, we invite you to join Old Badger's Hollow and their mystical community. Come and enjoy the tranquility that the Hollow brings, while also learning valuable life lessons that become represented by gemstones or symbols afterward.
